Download Festival tickets 2011 will available on sale.

A new had released 22 December, Download Festival tickets 2011 will available on sale.

Download Festival takes place over the weekend now for next year June 10-12, headliner of this festival are Linken Park and System Of A Down and they also will also perform with Avenged Sevenfold and Rob Zombie.

Avenged Sevenfold confirm Download Festival


Avenged Sevenfold after the great success on their recent sold-out UK tour have confirmed their participation for Download Festival 2011.The event will going to take place at Donington Park, UK between 10-12 June.Through out the Jan and Feb'11 the band has set out for US tour.

Ticket go on sale for the Download Festival 2011

Download festival tickets are due go on sale next year for festival. The event in Dannington will be headlined by System Of A Down and linkin Park runs from 10-12 July.

Organisers said kindly this month, Rob Zombie will also perform at the festival.

Ticket had been go on sale to the weekend next year but will now be available from tomorrow due to “overwhelming public demand”.

Linkin Park to play Download 2011


The 2011 Download Festival had been confirmed to play by Linkin Park.

Linkin Park fourth album The Thousand Sun was a great hit and went to number two in the UK,they will be join System Of A Down and Grammy award-winning musician-director Rob Zombie at Donington Park in June next year.

Frontman Chester Bennington said: "We are very excited to be playing Download again next year. It's one of the best festivals in the world and it's always an honour to play in front of such a great crowd. We can't wait!"

System Of A Down return for Download festival


At the Castle Donington event on 10-12 June,the Armenian-American band will top the bill.

A headliner for Download Festival has been confirmed by Metal band System Of A Down who have just ended at a five year "hiatus".

In a statement the group said they had "no master plan" but were "playing these shows simply because we want to play together again".

Tickets go on sale on Friday 3 December.

System Of A Down - Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan - have released five studio albums to date.

Their most famous tracks included Toxicity, Chop Suey! and Sugar.

Last year's Download Festival was headlined by AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith.

Download Festival 2011 tickets on sale in December


Download Festival 2011 will going to take place from 11 to 12 June 2011. Organizers have confirmed date and also revealed that a limited amount of tickets will go on sale on 3 December 2010 at 9am.

The metal and rock festival will once again take place at Donigton Park and fans will be able to bag their festival tickets in less than three weeks time.

Organisers used Twitter to confirm the news. They tweeted: "Download 2011 early bird tickets go on general sale 9am Friday December 3rd. More news to follow."

Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC, Them Crooked Vultures and Stone Temple Pilots have all played in the past but there are no names on the Download Festival 2011 line-up yet.

Top Festival Awards Goes To Download Festival

The 2010 Billboard Touring Awards, which held in New York on November 4,beating off competition from the Coachella and Oxygen Festivals, the Download Festival wins top festival awards for this year

This is not the first time that the Download Festival has win the top festival awards, in year 2007 the festival had received the award.

Andy Copping Promoter of Download Festival said:

"This is fantastic news and a real honour, we need to say a big thank you to all the fans who made the weekend the greatest Download ever."

This year's Download Festival in Castle Donington was the biggest and best yet comparing AC/DC,Headlined by Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith. It has a capacity allowing over 100,000 fans on site for the weekend - making Download the second biggest festival in the UK after Glastonbury.

The awards ceremony - which concluded the annual Billboard Touring Conference - also honoured Live Nation Entertainment, the promoters behind Download, with "Top Promoter".
