Download Festival headline System Of A Down

Download Festival headline SYSTEM OF A DOWN set confirmed to perform on 11th June Saturday.

Def Leppard, System Of A Down and Linkin Park are also include in headline the Download Festival, which held at Donington Park on 10-12 June 2011.


Download Festival tickets go on sale on 15 April Friday at 9am.

The Darkness perform at Downlaod Festival

The Darkness after splitting up are turn back to perform at Download Festival five years.

The rockers five top 10 hits including I Believe In A Thing Called Love, are appearing as special guests of headliners Def Leppard on Friday June 10.

Frontman Justin Hawkins said: "The idea of playing Download terrifies us. We played in an early slot on the main stage in 2003 and we were frightened then.

"It's reassuring to know that nothing has changed.

"On a serious note, it's the most rockest of festivals and the perfect place for us to begin the next phase of our journey."

Band from Lowestoft in Suffolk, their first album, earth, Brits on the best British album in 2004 allowed to receive the award was one of many.

Downlaod Festival headline Funeral For A Friend and Skunk Anansie which held at Donington Park.

Darkness make new album and perform at Download Festival

The Darkness have confirmed to make a new album this spring and perform the Download Festival in June.

Band frontman Justin Hawkins told BBC Newsbeat that he was his brother Dan, also an original band members for years with making new music.

He said, "It was frustrating for a long time to not be able to tell anybody because we've had to sort of keep it a secret. It was like a forbidden romance without the trail."

The band's original line-up reuniting, which are also drummer Ed Graham and bassist Frankie Poullain facilities.

Hawkins added, "The main thing for us is to make sure that musically we turn the experience into something positive again".

Download Festival held at Donington Park on June 10-12, include System Of A Down, Def Leppard and Linkin Park headlining.
