Lincoln band Knock Out Kaine are confirmed to perform at Download Festival

Lincoln band Knock Out Kaine are confirmed to perform at Download Festival in this year.

The music festival event takes place at Donnington Park in Derbyshire for this weekend, and the and will perform on the Pepsi Max Stage on Sunday 12th June 2011 at 11:45am.

The band's singer Dean Foxx, from Lincoln, said it was bound to be a good show.

He said, "Playing Download has been my fantasy since I was a little kid and now to be able to play among some of my favourite bands such as Alice Cooper, The Darkness and Def Leppard is just mind-blowing".

On 2008 Knock Out Kaine won Kerrang! Unsigned Band Final, recently returned from a sell-out European tour alongside former Guns n Roses drummer Steve Adler's band Adler's Appetite.
